Host Chapter Co-Chair Appointment for the 2024 CREW Convention

The CREW Vancouver Board is pleased to announce the appointment of the Host Chapter Co-Chairs for the 2024 CREW Convention held in Vancouver between September 25 to 27, 2024: Ashley Willard Bauman and Chrystal Burns. The Co-Chairs are responsible for a portion of the CREW Convention Programming and oversee and manage four volunteer committees. They will also be the key liaison between CREW Vancouver and CREW Network.

Ashely WillardAshley Willard Bauman is a proven expert in the strategy, marketing, community building, sales and leasing for world-class neighbourhoods, resorts, hotels, residential, industrial, and office developments. She works at every stage of the community building process, from the initial vision to completion - and beyond. During Ashley's 20+ years of experience across 14 countries, she has served as Director of Business Innovation for Intrawest, Vice President of Real Estate for Envisioning and Storytelling, Director of Strategy and Marketing for UBC Properties Trust, Senior Director at Rennie, and currently consults for numerous high-profile clients across asset classes. Ashley was President and Past President of CREW Vancouver and currently serves on the Member Education Committee with CREW Network.

Crystal BurnsChrystal Burns is the Executive Vice President, Canadian Retail, at QuadReal where she is responsible for the performance of QuadReal’s retail properties in Canada. Prior to QuadReal, Chrystal worked at Bentall Kennedy in successive roles, most recently as the Retail Sector Lead responsible for the asset management of a $2 billion portfolio across Canada. Chrystal holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Cape Town an Urban Land diploma from the University of British Columbia and holds a CFA designation. She completed a joint Master’s of Business Administration at Queen’s University and Cornell University in 2010. Chrystal was one of the founding members and served as President and Past President of CREW Vancouver. She was the recipient of the 2022 Woman of Influence Award from CREW Vancouver, recognized as a true champion for women and her last impact within her organization and the industry as a whole.
