Please join Regina Marklund, Construction Manager at Turner Construction & recipient of CREW Vancouver’s 2021 Woman of Influence Award for an engaging and intimate conversation.

Regina will discuss her career trajectory, delve into her current role as Construction Manager at Turner Construction, and discuss the unique challenges of working in the male-dominated construction sector. The discussion will also focus on leadership and provide emerging leaders with advice and skills they can apply in their own career paths.

Regina is currently the construction manager for The Post, an over 1M SF commercial tenant improvement project. Her role includes; leading and developing a large team, overseeing the procurement of subcontractors, budget management, schedule, quality and exceeding client expectations. She has been involved in the project for over a year in preconstruction and is gearing up to start construction in the next several months.

Previous to this, Regina led the interiors division, where she was responsible for developing and implementing a strategic business plan. She grew the division from $30M in annual revenue to $70M in 3 years.

Regina moved to Vancouver in 2016 in the role of business development manager to further develop Turner’s presence in the Vancouver market.  The early part of her career was spent in New York City, Philadelphia and New Jersey in various roles within Turner, giving her well-rounded experience as a construction manager. As a past president of CREW Vancouver, Regina has been an active member and is an advocate for women in our industry.

Regina lives along the sea to sky corridor with her husband and two children (Finn – 8 and Anja – 6).
